Career opportunities embody environmental biology, biotechnology, the health sciences, education and agriculture. Classes are much smaller than first and second year college programs and there is extra opportunity for one-on-one teacher and/or tutor conferences. DVC is one of the leading switch establishments within the country, and the biology division programs are transferable to UC and state universities.

Health Professions Advising serves all UC Davis undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni pursuing any health career or allied well being subject. Advisors use a holistic method while providing assist and feedback throughout educational and application preparation. We encourage college students to be proactive and reflective during their profession decision-making process. Our goal is for school students to become profitable applicants who demonstrate compassion, leadership and a dedication to academic success throughout their journey towards a well being professions profession. Biology is the study of life, or extra specifically, the entire processes and methods that make life occur in plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms.
